Community Learning Circles (In-Person)
Community Learning Circles are available on Saturday mornings from 9:00-11:45 approximately once per month at Helios Chiropractic Center or in other Menomonie locations. Sessions are offered with a pay-what-you-can sliding fee scale.
These group classes offer an opportunity to observe and discuss bodywork, energy medicine, and plant medicine practices. There is no set outline or concrete content for these events in order to allow for the organic flow of how the day unfolds. Topics covered may include a broad range of discussions that are relevant to whatever arises in the moment related to doing hands-on work with folks as well as personal / professional / spiritual development topics.
Generally 1 or 2 people will be worked on throughout the morning while others observe. While these are "information" focused events, there may be some opportunities to practice hands-on skills. Most sessions will be focused on bodywork and a variety of energy medicine techniques. Some sessions may focus more on plant medicine.
These events are relatively fast-paced. Their purpose is to expose folks to a broad range of concepts, frameworks, and modalities, offering simple tools and practices that are immediately useful for your personal and professional life, while also hoping to inspire you to want to pursue further studies on topics that catch your interest.
While it may be helpful to have a basic level of understanding of some anatomy, a bodywork practice, an energy medicine modality, some variety of a somatic therapy, etc, it is not required. The most important prerequisites are an open heart, a curious mind, and a sincere desire to learn and be of service to others.

Free Group Spiritual Companioning for "Sensitives" (Zoom)
Free group spiritual companioning sessions are available via Zoom on the first Sunday and the first Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm Central Time. Groups are intentionally kept small, so please register online sooner rather than later to reserve your spot.
These groups offer supportive witnessing for those who are exploring self-inquiry, personal development, and spirituality. These sessions offer time and space to be witnessed as our personal and spiritual journeys unfold.
Those who are drawn to this group may have lived experience with or identify with being a highly sensitive person, autism, ADHD, AuDHD, have unique ways of sensory processing, experience hyper-empathy or a sense of heightened connections, or have other expressions of neurodivergence. Folks may also be navigating dynamic disabilities, chronic pain, working to understand their sensory needs, or living with complex chronic illnesses.
Generally sessions will be opened with a short centering activity (which are always optional and you can choose to have your camera on or off). We will do a brief check in, then folks will have an opportunity to be listened to and witnessed for several uninterrupted minutes regarding present moment experiences of what's on your mind and in your heart, what has been bringing you joy or challenges lately, or how your own personal / spiritual journey is unfolding. There will be some time reserved to allow everyone in the group to share resources of possible interest. Sessions will generally conclude with an optional guided somatic awareness activity along with a song, reading, or poem.

Specialized Classes
Due to my very busy grad school schedule, there are no in-depth classes scheduled at this time. Regular classes will resume in the fall of 2025.
Customized, short workshops (3 hours or less) may be available upon request. Please reach out if you would like me to teach or present at your organization.
Classes and events may include a variety of topics such as plant medicine, movement explorations, interspiritual topics, passing the Rites of the Munay Ki, yoga topics, despacho ceremonies, reiki attunements, bodywork topics, or other community-focused gatherings. Classes often have an informal feel to allow for the organic flow of questions and conversation. Here are some of the areas we might explore.

Community Yoga Classes
I hope to resume offering yoga in spring or summer, 2025.
Community classes are offered on occasion in a variety of locations. Classes tend to focus on somatic education and embracing the experience of embodiment.
We practice together to build a sense of community, body-mind connection, and to access our own inner wisdom. I always emphasize well-informed, trauma-conscious embodiment and focus on safe mobility work, strength, self-awareness, and slow, steady progress that nourishes the body.
I have had specialized training in Viniyoga, trauma-informed yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and various yoga therapy topics. These styles and methods help support our ability to get to to know our own bodies and nervous systems and help build our interoceptive and proprioceptive skills. We may weave in balance work, stability work, exploring ease & resistance, and other embodiment-focused support.
