Integrative Sessions
Integrative sessions meet you where you are on the day of your appointment. I collaborate with you and offer what would be of greatest benefit in the present moment. Some days that might look like a quiet session with gentle bodywork or energy medicine for creating a sense of calm, inner peace. Other days we might talk more and process life through the lens of spiritual mentoring and peer support concepts. Some sessions may involve guidance and education on movement, breathwork, energy hygiene, personal development, or other wellness-focused topics.
My approach embraces the concepts of slow medicine, relaxation, receptivity, and the feminine, "yin" aspects of healing work. In a society that pushes a go-go-go mentality which can lead to over-stimulation, overwhelm, and stifling of our inner wisdom, I encourage you to soften, become quiet, slow down, and access the inner knowing that you already hold within you.
I offer the holding of time and space for you to practice presence, accessing your own inner knowing, your sacred self. I offer personal presence and undivided attention. My practice is non-clinical. That means I don't chase symptoms or seek to fix anything. What I do is remind you that you hold great wisdom within you and help guide you toward your own answers. Together, we work to remove obstacles to wellness that can inspire holistic healing, a sense of wholeness, connection, and personal evolution. If you're feeling a longing for a something more - something deeper, know that great strides in personal development and our sense of well-being can come about through small acts of self-kindness and simple practices. My decades of studies and experience have taught me that learning how our bodies communicate , learning how to process life with love, and being willing to change our stories are foundational first steps in changing negative or less than helpful patterns. Once these things begin to shift, other positive changes can happen more naturally and effortlessly allowing you to address other areas of concern such as more balanced nutrition, functional movement, creating better relationships and healthy boundaries, getting more restful sleep, creating supportive environments, and more. The best news is that taking small, yet significant steps isn't hard! I'm here to remind you that you are your own best healing influence! Sessions may combine discussion time, bodywork, somatic education, health coaching, and energy medicine practices.
When we meet, I will ask you to share your intention for the session. You may share any growth work themes that you are currently working with. I may offer energy medicine diagnostics and assessments. During the energy healing portion, you get to relax, fully clothed, on a massage table. It is important that talking is minimal during this portion of the session. We will often chat a bit more towards the end of the session. I may give you movements, breath-based activities, contemplative exercises, or other things to do at home to help with the reflection and integration process. |
Before & After Your SessionBefore
Please arrive with an intention for our work together. Eat a little something before you come (so you aren't too hungry or too full). Avoid excessive amounts of caffeine or other substances before your session. Please avoid wearing perfumes, heavily scented products, and excessive jewelry. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing. You may wish to bring a pen and notebook. After Because these sessions may lead to deep introspection, aha moments, and transformational self-awareness, it is recommended that you do not have any other appointments or obligations scheduled afterwards. Please allow yourself time for quiet integration time and processing. In order to support the energetic re-patterning process, please refrain from heavy exercise, intense emotional situations, media exposure, and substance use after a session. Rest and reflection are the key to getting the most out of your sessions. Journaling may be especially helpful. It is advised to sit with your experience for a while before talking about it or processing it with others in order to support your reflective practice and re-patterning process with no outside influences. Creating a conscious pause allows you to hold the work in a more empowered, sacred way. The more time and space you carve out to do reflective practices and integrate afterwards, the more value you will get from your session. |
You will not find clinical treatment plans or symptom chasing in this environment. If you are looking for someone to oblige "fix me" requests, I am not the right practitioner for you.
However, if you desire holistic support in seeking personal growth, healing, a sense of connection, and deeper self-awareness as you do your own inner work, I look forward to working with you.

Encouraging the parasympathetic "rest and digest" (relaxation) response helps the body heal and function more effectively than a stressed body. Going beyond that, accessing and working with the heart energy allows for a deeper level of healing to take place. Combined with the wisdom of microsystems therapies and energy healing modalities, we can utilize powerful tools that have been used to stimulate self-healing for thousands of years, making that effect even stronger.
Sessions teach the body to relax more effectively and more frequently, creating a cumulative healing effect. Remember that cultivating well-being is a process. This work is not about being fixed. It is about being supported as you calm your inner world and access your own healing capabilities, allowing that healing to ripple into your outer world.
Regularly scheduled sessions produce greater cumulative results than sporadic ones.

"Here’s the deal. The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed — to be seen, heard and companioned exactly as it is. When we make that kind of deep bow to the soul of a suffering person, our respect reinforces the soul's healing resources. . . "
